Testimonial from Wyong Shire Council

Effective and fun Youth training programs will get your youth members energised, inspired and create momentum! Our youth training programs are fun, engaging and always get lots of great feedback from young people.

The youth training programs are delivered by FRANK Team presenters, who are leading young Australians themselves.

We deliver training workshops, youth forums and strategy planning sessions for young people and youth and community development officers.

After a very energetic day the young people present said that they would like there to be a follow up forum. This was great news and an indication that they really enjoyed the day

Customised Programs

Case Study #1; Burwood City Council

The Burwood City Council obtained funding from the Attorney General’s Department to design and deliver a program targeted towards addressing extremism, racism and cyber-bullying in a local area in Sydney.

The FRANK Team worked with and trained participants including;

– School students from various ages, cultural backgrounds and socio-economic levels

– Youth advisory group members (aged up to 24 years) from local government

– Community members including police personnel, community staff and community leaders, and

– Teachers

The FRANK Team worked with Burwood Council and youth advisory groups to brainstorm, design and create a Board Game that the Youth Advisory Group could deliver in local schools. The Board Game provided a very experiential learning opportunity for participants.

The Board Game proved to be a very successful initiative – with both students and teachers stating that it was effective in addressing very sensitive matters.Many schools stated that they would continue to use the Board Game as an instructional and training strategy in combatting the issues of extremism, racism and cyber-bullying.

SBS World News was also interested in this initiative and covered it on their news segment.

Case Study #2; Wyong Shire Council

The FRANK Team worked with the Youth Development Officer to design and deliver an Impact Youth Forum. The Forum was an opportunity for local school students in the area to learn about key leadership skills, to be inspired and to be motivated to lead action in their school communities.

The FRANK Team program incorporated team building activities, guest speakers, inspiring speakers and lots of experiential learning to ensure that the participants were engaged throughout.
