Entrepreneurship & Innovation Skills (Ideal for Business Schools)
  1. Entrepreneurship Challenge Competition This is FRANK Team program where we encourage participants to team up. Students learn about the Lean Canvas and learn key brainstorming, team management and pitching skills. This is a very interactive and fun program.

Case Study #1: Department of Broadband Communications and Digital Economy

The FRANK Team worked with DBCDE over 3 years to design, develop and deliver DBCDE’S strategic plan regarding cyber safety in Australia.
Our tasks included;

– Designing training and community feedback programs to implement in over 100 schools around Australia. DBCDE was seeking feedback on key issues like cyberbullying, cybersafety, technology use and other technology related issue
– Liaising with and training DBCDE’s Youth Advisory Group for Cybersafety
– Monitoring and collating feedback from DBCDE’s online discussion portal – YAG Online
– Facilitating discussions with industry stakeholders including Telstra, Facebook, ACMA and many other business and community organisations
– Reporting, evaluating and collating feedback from all stakeholders and compiling reports to be submitted to DBCDE and the Minister’s Office
– Facilitating DBCDE’s National Cybersafety Summit which included delivering workshops, acting as Master of Ceremonies, hosting panel discussions as well as introducing the Minister

As a result of this large scale national initiative, the following outcomes were achieved;
– Development of Cybersafety Help Button – http://www.cybersafetyhelp.gov.au/
– Development of Easy Guide to Socialising Online
– Development of many more online guides and tutorials for students, parents and teachers
– The YAG online portal is still active and participants are still engaging and contributing to it

Case Study #2; Department of Industry Tourism and Resources
The FRANK Team worked with the Federal Government’s Department of Industry, Tourism & Resources to develop a One-day Summit which was focused on innovation & entrepreneurship education for youth.

The audience included participants from various age groups and socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.

This workshop was designed to build the students awareness, interest and understanding of entrepreneurship & innovation as well as to develop their skills in these areas.

FRANK Team facilitators then presented these workshops around Australia in over 70 schools in partnership with the Department.

Case Study #3; Department of Industry and Investment NSW

The FRANK Team worked with the Department of Industry and Investment NSW for 6 years to deliver business training and mentoring skills for 18 – 30 year old business owners and young entrepreneurs.
Our tasks included;
• Liaising with the Department to ensure the program design and training met their objectives
• Designing workshops for topics such as cashflow, marketing, financial management, social media etc.
• Delivered mentoring training to BRW listed and award winning entrepreneurs – as they were the mentors for participants in this program
• Undertook comprehensive reporting and program monitoring
• Created events which were action oriented, practical and inspiring

The FRANK Team delivered and facilitated these workshops along with keynote speakers, experts, industry mentors and presenters. The program was very successful and ran for many years.
